After only a few weeks as a cub scout Jacob has passed off enough requirements to get his bobcat award this month at the his pack meeting. Every week Jacob made the effort to pass off requirements ranging from cooking a meal and cleaning up to learning the cub scout motto and pledge of allegiance. I was so proud listening to him memorize and repeat them and feel good knowing that he is learning things that will help him become a great boy. He is so full of enthusiasm about the program and wants to work on it every chance he gets. He finished every requirement and passed them off with his leaders this week and got his bobcat award tonight. Congratulations Jakie!!
At the pack meeting all of the boys in his den put together a cute little skit that required them to dress up like cowboys. 3 stores and 2 hours of looking for something cowboy inspired and we finally found something to wear for him to be the part: Guy 2 in his skit.
