Dinner time is the BEST time of my day!

Mikey is officially sitting up!!  7 months to the day:)

I can't think of anything I love more than when they are loving each other and laughing together.  So much better than seeing them ninja chop each other!!!

This is how I spend my entire day! It kills to try and do any work with Mike in my arms. When I do bills he bangs on the keyboard every two seconds and cries if I put him down :-) Infant stage is hard.

I Here's what I'm off-track morning looks like :-) here's what an off track morning looks like. Here is what hope one day they see these photos oil took and they remember that they are each others best friends.  Morning snuggles came naturally.

Here is what an off track morning looks like.   All of the children piled into mamas bed watching "boys"  TV shows. 

Yep, we are raising "classy" kids here in the Shumway household!!  Ricky was ready to eat! Love the napkin/plate:)

Thu Jakie's Eyes: Portrait His Parents

Jacob decided to do portrait renderings for Rick and I during sacrament today.  I loves them so much I thought I should record them forever!

I laughed at these for hours!  I love he way that his little mind works and which features he focuses on and exaggerated:). Can't wait for Ricky to draw some fun stuff too.

The Beauty/Burden of Brothers:)

After doing some cleaning and Jacob and Ricky's room I found these "coupons" That Jake has been giving Ricky each night. They were stuck to the wall down where Ricky sleeps.  It's a series of three :-)

Then there was this one…

Finally there was this one. I'm thinking this one was actually two different attempts to communicate his feelings to Ricky :-) no the pen and pencil used at different times.:)

After asking Jake about it we discovered that there is another fourth one somewhere that makes Ricky agreed to be Jacob slave and clean for him for a full day :-)

Happy Birthday Rick!

Simply Sushi for dinner made Rick's b day extra yummy!  Happy 33rd.  Food, family and fun. Here we're a few of the hilights:). 

Happy Birthday Love!!  We are thrilled to get another whole year with you this year!

Sundays after the b day we celebrate it all over again!!  It's not officially a b day until you get to blow out the candles:)

Mikey's milestones Seven-month-old

Today was Mike's a seven month checkup. He was a tiny little guy coming in at the 15th percentile for height and 9th percentile in weight.  My poor baby had to have his shots:(.  I just hate to see him cry but, I know it's for the best.  He already had a bonk on his cheek from a bumbo accident so it killed me to add more owies to his little body.

Here is what you are up to:

Crawling pretty well

Smiling, laughing, cooing

babbling, "dadadadadada"

Eating soft solids

Wants to eat everything!!

Everything goes into the mouth for exploration.

Isn't this how everyone watches Harry Potter??  I looked over during the movie and this is what I saw :-)

It's Mommy/Mikey time:)

Mommy/Ricky date..hot chocolate and a snack after Mikey's dr apt.  We talked about life, friends and all of the "wuffs" (what if's) he cold think of.  Then he burped repeatedly and had his hot chocolate taken away:). Boys!!

"I've got you babe"!  Rick sent me this card on Jib Jab and though it is quite disturbing, I laughed for days!  I love that mans funny mind!

Ricky watched his fav cartoon with his buddy Noah just like this:). 4 years old is so adorable!

I just loves this photo of both of them:). I'm so glad I married Rick and I'm glad my kids love him so completely.

Not Mikey's finest moment.  We had to leave sooner than I could bathe Mike so he had to go with orange Popsicle on his onesie and knee:). That's what being a boy is all about though right?? No one will judge me:)
